Social Bookmarking del.icio.us

The future of internet search?

I created my account at del.icio.us. This sort of internet search is slightly different than what Google or Yahoo do. These searches are based on users tagging pages with their own key words and saving the link in their online del.icio.us favorites. The more people that use the same tags and have the page bookmarked, the higher it rises in your search. So, instead of a search engine robot roaming the internet, looking for content, then ranking it, social bookmarking has actual people doing the ranking.
