May 03, 2006Sending email to a group of people using Outlook |
and easily hiding the email address list using BccFirst create a Distribution List in Outlook by clicking on New then Distribution List. You can 'Add New' email addresses or select them from your contact list using 'Select Members'. Once you have the list completed click on Save and Close. Now click on New Mail Message, click on View then Bcc Field. The Bcc Field should now be visible below the Cc Field. Now put your list name in the Bcc Field and your own email address as the To Field. That's it. It will look like the email is addressed to you but it will be emailed to everyone in your Distribution List. Even if you don't create a Distribution List or click on View Bcc Field, you can just enter email addresses from your Contact List by putting each email into the Bcc Field.
