RSS Feeds, the future of supplying web content?I love this industry, it's a great time to be alive. Watching computers and the internet grow from it's infancy is something I hope to be able to share with my grand-kids someday. The "newest" next big thing is RSS . RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication So what does that mean? Basically it allows you to push your site content or blog. In other words you put your site content out just like the big news services. People can sign up to read Fox News, Reuters Business, Disney New releases and my blog, not sure why they would want what I've got to say pushed on to them, but they can. So instead of coming to my website to see if I have updated my blog, you would sign up to have my current title and summary sent to you. Let's say you have 10,000 sales people across the globe with PDA's, and you want to be able to send out a message to all of them. You could set up a huge mailing list, and email them, or have them constantly checking the website for updates, or you use RSS feeds and push the content to them
